The Crossroads Lifestyle Expo is brought to you by its creator, Claudette Huber, the owner and visionary behind Happy On Main, her husband David, and their team of dedicated volunteers that bring a unique set of talents and resources to the collective.
Claudette, David and team contribute countless hours behind the scenes to organize, plan, schedule and coordinate the many moving pieces required for an event of this size. From floor plans to accounting to resourcing, the energy they pour into the event speaks to the love they have for the community the Crossroads Lifestyle Expo brings together.
Our History
Where it all started
If Claudette Huber is the heart and soul of the Crossroads Expo, then Happy On Main is the foundation. Opened in 2016 as Happy Hobbit Curios, Inc., Happy On Main has become an anchoring business in Dawson Creek’s downtown core, and a welcoming haven, providing space for practitioners and wares for seekers of higher consciousness.
Crossroads Lifestyle Expo was born of a dream where the connection and community found at Happy On Main could be shared with a wider audience. From its inception in 2022 to its 4th year in 2025, the Expo has provided a sacred space where connection, laughter, learning and love have a place to be shared.

Claudette is the heart and soul of the Expo, a Clinical Hypnotherapist CHHT + QHHT + CERO, owner and visionary behind Happy On Main, and all-around beautiful human being.
If you’ve been into Happy On Main, then you’ve probably felt the warm, welcoming energy she radiates, and left feeling better without really knowing why.Serena is writing this so she can say all these things, and Claudette can’t do anything about it.
David Huber
Logistics & Planning
David Huber is co-owner of Happy On Main, Expo heavy-lifter, and Claudette’s ride-or-die, best friend/partner in crime. His generous soul and dedication to Claudette, Happy On Main and Crossroads Lifestyle Expo are inspiring, and since Serena is writing this too, she can talk about what a fantastic experience it has been to get to know David through working on this project.
Fawn Tessier

Fawn is the fiery, financial genius who keeps the Expo on track and the rest of us on topic. Her insight and humor are the driving force behind Crystal Dragon Soul Energies, and her affinity for moldavite speaks volumes about the incredible power she can harness in her hands.
Specializing in many forms of healing, divination, and tarot, Fawn can be found in her dedicated space at Happy On Main.

Logistics & Planning
Jeremy is our resident Sagittarius Starseed, bringing his light and love to the table, both literally and figuratively. As half of the culinary genius team at Hungry Duckling Catering, his appreciation for food as an art form is apparent in the attention to quality and detail he puts into everything he does. Beyond the kitchen, Jeremy’s passions shine through in his love for animals and his ever-growing crystal collection, each piece a reflection of his vibrant spirit.
His heartwarming journey began at Happy on Main when, as an 8-year-old shopper, he met Claudette, his birthday twin. Jeremy is the friendly face of Saturdays, bringing warmth, joy, and a sense of community to everyone who walks through the door.
Serena Embree
Website & Digital Marketing
Serena volunteered to build a website for it, and from this project, Radiant Thread Strategies was born.
You can find Serena at the Dawson Creek Visitor Centre most days, and when she’s not working she is likely tending to her menagerie, obsessing about local history, reading tarot and drinking tea.
